My name is Melinda and I have been passionately teaching ISR lessons since 2017 to kids in Southern Alberta! I LOVE the water and take water safety seriously so that all kids can learn to swim and can have fun in the water.

Melinda has been such a blessing for our family. Our son was truly terrified of the water, he would panic the moment he had to get wet and would not cooperate at first. She took the time and had the patience to build our sons trust and in a few short weeks he is now able to float on his back independently and swim a short distance. 'I’m a believer! Our 3 year old - 6 weeks ago would not even put his face in the water. Back floats - do not even think about it. We didn't think he'd make this progress but he can literally float on his back and swim a few feet and jump off the edge. We are in awe of Melinda and her teachings. The way she interacts with the kids is heartwarming. She really cares and you can tell in her face when she looks at your babies. 10/10 --- 5 starts --- would recommend. I have already been telling all my friends and family with young kids to do it! It's amazing to see how much Elowyn progressed in the 6 weeks and I was nearly in tears (happy tears) multiple times watching her be able to go from sinking to having her head out of the water, breathing, and floating!! Melinda is absolutely amazing! In just over 2 weeks, our son has gone from being terrified to put his head under water to begging for more time to swim under water. It has been amazing to watch him change and develop so quickly. Melinda is patient and kind and also has so much fun with our son, making him laugh, while somehow getting him to do the things he needs to do even when he doesn’t want to.
